Continuing EDUCATION
All educational modules meet the Medical and Osteopathic Board’s continuing medical education (CME) credit requirement of Patient Safety/Risk Management, and modules 3-7 can be used to meet the PA Act 124 of 2016 CME requirements for opioid education. Please note: A provider cannot use the same module to meet both Patient Safety/Risk Management and Act 124 requirements.
Sessions also provide 1.0 nursing contact hours (PA only).
Each module can also be used to satisfy one of the required eight training hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders, as mandated under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 for all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)-registered practitioners.
