Join us in advancing infection prevention expertise and ensuring the highest standards of care in long-term facilities at the Infection Preventionist Leadership Bootcamp, presented by Quality Insights in partnership with the West Virginia Health Care Association. Designed for infection preventionists in long-term care facilities across West Virginia, this event will allow participants to delve into vital topics, network with peers, and enhance their skills in safeguarding resident health.

 

POST-BOOTCAMP VIRTUAL SESSIONS


Following the Infection Preventionist Leadership Bootcamp, there will be six virtual sessions offering further education and support for participants. These will be held on the second Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. ET  from May-October 2024.

  • Session 1: Thursday, May 9, 1-2 p.m. ET
  • Session 2: Thursday, June 13, 1-2 p.m. ET
  • Session 3: Thursday, July 11, 1-2 p.m. ET
  • Session 4: Thursday, Aug. 8, 1-2 p.m. ET
  • Session 5: Thursday, Sept. 12, 1-2 p.m. ET
  • Session 6: Thursday, Oct. 10, 1-2 p.m. ET

Quality Insights and QIN-QIO Logo

Quality Insights is the Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Through funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Quality Insights offers FREE services to Medicare providers to achieve health quality outcomes set forth by CMS. Our dedicated Nursing Home Team works one-on-one with long-term care facilities to provide the data, technical assistance, education, and other resources they need to turn CMS’ health care initiatives into action. Key initiatives include patient safety, care coordination, immunizations, opioid utilization, training, and infection control.
