Training Success Story: Viven Health

In 2024, Quality Insights partnered with Viven Health to offer free virtual training for our nursing home partners in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Viven Health’s online interactive learning modules provide training tailored to the nursing home setting in infection prevention, vaccines, sepsis prevention, and enhanced barrier precautions.

One nursing home that saw tremendous benefits after integrating the modules into their annual competency days. Leaders at Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, Pennsylvania, said they were looking for ways to use digital technology for staff education so there is increased learning and retention.

During the facility’s annual competency days, the staff completed a series of Viven Health’s training modules selected by the infection preventionist.

Facility leaders told Quality Insights that staff were visibly engaged during their learning, and many staff member said they learned new information after completing the training.

Viven Health’s trainings remain available to Quality Insights’ nursing home partners in Pennsylvania and West Virginia at no cost.

During the month of October, facilities that complete any of the trainings are eligible to win prizes. The facility with the highest participation of all programs will be awarded lunch for all its staff. Additionally, Viven Health will hold a drawing every Friday in October to award a $50 gift card to a registered user who completes the program.

This contest is solely created, managed, and funded by Viven Health. When Viven Health offered the same participation contest in May, Valley View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, was awarded with lunch for its staff (pictured).
